Amari Cooper, born on June 17, 1994, is an American former professional football wide receiver who has played ten seasons in the National Football League. He played college football for the Alabama Crimson Tide, earning the Biletnikoff Award and unanimous All-American recognition in 2014. Cooper was selected by the Oakland Raiders in the first round of the 2015 NFL draft, chosen fourth overall. Midway through the 2018 season, he was traded to the Dallas Cowboys, where he recorded a 217-yard game and earned a Pro Bowl selection. He recorded 1,000-yard seasons in 2019 and 2020, with the 2019 campaign resulting in a Pro Bowl appearance. Cooper achieved 1,000-yard seasons in 2022 and 2023, becoming the first Cleveland Browns wide receiver to record multiple 1,000-yard campaigns. He was invited to the 2012 Under Armour All-America Game, where he scored on a 75-yard touchdown reception and a 93-yard punt return.
