Aaron Jones Biography

Aaron LaRae Jones Sr. born on December 2, 1994, is an American professional football running back who has played in the National Football League. He played college football for the UTEP Miners and was selected by the Green Bay Packers in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL draft. During his time with the Packers, Jones led the league in rushing touchdowns during the 2019 season and earned a Pro Bowl selection in 2020. He played college football for the UTEP Miners from 2013 to 2016 under head coach Sean Kugler. In his first season at UTEP, he recorded 811 rushing yards, four rushing touchdowns, and four receptions for 14 yards. He began the 2014 season with three strong performances, showing his ability as a running back. In his second game of that season, he rushed for 123 yards on 18 carries, including a 51-yard touchdown run, which was the Miners’ only touchdown of the game.
