Hall of Fame starting pitcher Pedro Martinez is one of the greatest players to ever come out of the Dominican Republic. The 8x All-Star, world series champion won 3 Cy Young Awards over the course of his legendary 17 year career. With a career record of 219-100 and over 3,100 strikeouts, he was an obvoius selection for the hall of fame. Martinez played for 5 MLB teams, most notably for the Red Sox and the Phillies. After retiring, Martinez couldnt stay away from the game, he currently is a studio analysist for MLB Network.
